English: Battle of Dai Do, May 1, 1968. At dawn, Company B takes An Lac after being abandoned by the enemy. Company G begins an assault on Dai Do at 12:53, takes the village and remains there for two hours resisting the enemy's counterattack. At 16.25, the survivors begin the retreat. At 17.00, Company B enters in action and goes towards Dai Do, but is forced to stop at about 300 meters by enemy fire. Shortly after they were forced to stop, Company E arrives at An Lac and assists them in the retreat.
