Description
Italiano: La pala fu commissionata per la cappella della villa medicea di Cafaggiolo,ristrutturata da Michelozzo nel 1451. Il Wedgwood Kennedy ipotizza una commissione da parte di Piero il Gottoso, per il quale il Baldovinetti aveva giá lavorato nella cappella della SS. Annunziata e, forse, in quella di S. Croce. Lo studioso suggerisce una datazione per la committenza al 1453, anno di nascita di Giuliano, secondogenito di Piero, avvalorata dalla presenza di San Giuliano insieme agli altri santi "medicei".
