Cameras are forbidden in the Polunsky Unit (where he is incarcerated) and he is unlikely to ever be a free man. His surviving relatives and friends are likely unable or unwilling to contribute a free photograph.

Respect for commercial opportunities (WP:NFCC#2)	The TDCJ is a corrections agency and will not lose commercial opportunities from use of this photograph. It is also not as aggressive in regards to use of its images compared to news agencies.
Other information	The subject of the photograph has been under correctional supervision since May 22, 2014 (initially under the U.S. Marshalls Service and then with the Harris County Sheriff's Office), and in TDCJ custody since August 20, 2018.
