English: Aguang River [with a latitude of 15.78 (15° 46' 60 N) and a longitude of 121.55 (121° 32' 60 E), is a hydrographic (stream) located in Barangay Buhangin, Baler, Aurora, 313 kilometers north (351°) of the approximate center of Philippines and 145 kilometers north east (25°) of the capital Manila[1].
Aguang River (Kabilang Sabangan), better known during the founding of old town Baler as the river San Jose, was setting of Coppola’s “Apocalypse Now” filmed in 1976-79[2].
