English: Able Seaman, Colin Grazier Memorial (1) This photograph shows the Memorial to Able Seaman Colin Grazier, who came from Tamworth and died in the service of his Country in World War 2, while serving in the Royal Navy aboard, H.M.S. Petard. Able Seaman Colin Grazier along with, Lt Anthony Fasson and aided by the N.A.A.F.I Canteen assistant, 16 year old Tommy Brown recovered the Enigma machine and vital documents, vital to the breaking of the Enigma code from the U-Boat U559. Unfortunately, while attempting to recover more material the people mentioned above, perished when the U- Boat sank. Artwork by Walenty Pytel.
