English: A U.S. Navy Ling-Temco-Vought A-7E-7-CV Corsair II (BuNo 157536) of Attack Squadron 27 (VA-27) "Royal Maces" in 1979-80. This aircraft was the personal aircraft of the "Commander Air Group (CAG)" of Carrier Air Wing 14 (CVW-14) which was deployed on the aircraft carrier USS Coral Sea (CV-43) to the Western Pacific and the Indian Ocean from 13 November 1979 to 11 June 1980. The A-7E 157536 (c/n E-192) was retired to the AMARC as 6A0189 on 15 August 1986. |
