Farnsworth Peak, home to most of the Salt Lake City area's FM and TV station transmitters. Plus a number of FM ham radio repeaters. The two transmitter sites, left to right (or south to north) are "Little Farnsworth" and "Big Farnsworth." They are named after Philo Farnsworth, the inventor of television. The peak is in the Oquirrh Mountains.
TVs on Little Farnsworth are KSUD, KTMW and KUPX. There are also three FM translators, including one broadcasting a local AM, KALL/700.
TVs on Big Farnsworth are KTSU, KBYU, KSL, KJZZ, KEJT, and KULX. FMs include KNRS, KUBL, KSL, KSOP, KKLV, KUDD, KODJ, KUER, KAAZ, KSOP and KRSP. Plus a bunch of FM translators.
These were shot on approach from the south to SLC in 2016.
