Description A cold front sweeping deep into the Southern U.S. brings freezing temperatures to large parts of the country. This image from the High Resolution Rapid Refresh model shows the minimum surface air temperature that was expected from November 13th through 0500 UTC on the 14th. Areas shaded blue were at or below freezing. The National Weather Service issued freeze warnings for an area stretching from eastern Texas to Georgia.
