Description
Deutsch: Lukanisch(?)-rotfiguriger Glockenkrater. A-Seite: bartloser Jugendlicher (möglicherweise Dionysos) auf einem Stuhl in einem zweirädrigen Maultierkarren, in der Hand einen Kantharos, hinter ihm sprießen Weinreben und ein phallusförmiger Stab; B-Seite: Mann und Frau auf einer Kline beim Geschlechtsakt (Symplegma), unter der Kline eine Oinochoe. Herkunft aus Lukanien umstritten, Frank Brommer vermutet Herkunft aus Böotien, was aufgrund fehlender Exporte von Keramik nach Süditalien unwahrscheinlich erscheint. Archäometrische untersucheungen des Tons erbrachten kein Ergebnis. Ende 5. oder 4. Jahrhundert v. Chr.; Höhe 12 bis 12,5 cm; gefunden in Süditalien. 1993 für die Antikensammlung Berlin/Altes Museum aus der Sammlung Brommer (Br. 292) erworben; Inventarnummer 1993.252; CVA Deutschland 86/Berlin 11, Tafel 72.
