Original file(1,296 × 801 pixels, file size: 294 KB, MIME type: image/jpeg)

Summary

Description During the 1987 San Francisco Historic Trolley Festival, Milano car 1834 is turning from 17th Street north into the 1986-opened wye on Noe Street. (Some years later, the Noe Street track was made part of a full loop, no longer a dead-end wye, and the direction of travel was changed to one-way southbound only.) Note the sign on the car's side, reading "Gift of the City of Milan to the City of San Francisco for the Trolley Festival". The "75" decal at left was the logo Muni used in celebration of its 75th anniversary year (1987).
