English: The Pulsar was a front wheel drive compact car first built by Nissan in 1978, Phased out in Japan in 2000 in Japan, but not until 2005 in Australia and New Zealand (when replaced by the Tiida)
The 1982-86 second generation N12 Pulsar was available in 3 or 5 door hatchback and 4 door sedan, the new 2 door coupe was the Pulsar EXA. Quite a different looking car compared to the hatchback and sedan, the EXA got pop up headlights. The peculiar upright styling is due to the use of the regular Pulsar's rather tall windshield and cowl. As a result, the dashboard was identical to that of a Pulsar hatchback or sedan. Engine; 103 hp 1488cc 4 cyl (turbocharged available in 1983) The second and last generation 1986-90 N13 EXA was a more streamlined, rounded coupe, the windscreen less upright. |
