Summary

Description

The new shape Hillman Minx replaced the 1945-57 Mk I - Mk VIII Minx, they started again with Series I, a more modern shape with the existing 1390cc OHV engine, which grew in size with the Series III (1494) and the Series VI (1725). There were up market Singer Gazelle and 2 door Sunbeam Rapier variants of all these Hillman Minx models.

Some models were re-badged in certain markets, with the Sunbeam and Humber marques used for some exports, e.g. the New Zealand Humber 80.
