A imagem, que pode parecer obtida algures em Maranello, revela de facto o interior das oficinas de Palma & Morgado por ocasião do III Circuito Internacional (Grande Prémio de Lisboa) disputado em Monsanto a 23 e 24 de Julho de 1955. A corrida foi ganha por Masten Gregory, em Ferrari 750 Monza, que cortou a linha de chegada apenas alguns metros à frente do Maserati 300S do segundo classificado, o Barão de Graffenried. Mas vejamos agora os Ferrari estacionados no "parque" da oficina de Manuel Palma e Joaquim Morgado:

  • nº19 - Joaquim Filipe Nogueira - 250MM #0332MM
  • nº 21 - Mac Kay Frazer - 735 Monza #0444MD
  • nº17 - D. Fernando Mascarenhas - 500 Mondial # 0560MD - em fase avançada de recuperação. Em breve regressa a Portugal.
  • nº20 - Borges Barreto - 250MM #0326MM
    Num anúncio de página inteira inserido na edição de Agosto de 1955 da revista do ACP, pode ler-se que Palma, Morgado e C.ª Lda atestam que "todos estes carros foram revistos e afinados" nas suas instalações da avenida Elias Garcia 106-108 e Visconde de Valmor 68 B e C.
