English: A New Brunswick License Plate from 1918. Numbered 8569. In 1918 New Brunswick discontinued the use of porcelain license plates which had been used previously since 1911. These plates issued from 1918 through 1921 were made of a thin guage steel rolled over onto a wire frame for reinforcement.
