The route from Narvik through to Luleå is famous for iron ore traffic and a regular flow of long trains from mines in the KIruna area to in both directions for exporting. Over the years motive power has changed. Nowadays it's in the hands of pairs of IORE class electrics. Seen here are nos. 102 and 118 passing through Narvic station through to the port on 19 July 2023.
A fleet of 17 of these locos is owned by LKAB Malmtrafik, formerly Malmtrafik i Kiruna AB (MTAB).
