    • "emission"
    • "reflection"
    • "planetary"
    • "protoplanetary"
    • "plerion"
    • "interstellar cloud"
    • "high velocity cloud"
    • "intermediate velocity cloud"
    • "low velocity cloud"
    • "supershell"
    • "molecular cloud"
    • "infrared cirrus"
    • "Bok globule"
    • "giant molecular cloud"
    • "molecular cloud complex"
    • "supernova remnant"
  • type2 (optional) - if the type is unsupported, place it here; can also be used to specify an alternate type
  • name – the name of the nebula.
  • image (optional) – an image, specified in the form imagename.ext without specifying "FILE:" and without the [[ brackets ]]
    ie.) sampleimage.jpg
  • image_scale (optional) – Relative image size; e.g. 1.5 for 50% larger than reader's default
  • alt (optional) – Alternative text for images; cf. MOS:ALT
  • caption (optional) – a caption for the image
  • credit (optional) – a credit for the image
  • subtype (optional) - the subtype of this type of nebula; can also be used to specify an alternate type
  • class (optional) - the class of the subtype of nebula
  • epoch – the epoch when the coordinate measurements were taken
NOTE This parameter requires that ra , dec , epoch all be set
  • ra – the right ascension of the nebula; please use {{RA}} or {{Deg2HMS}} filling in hours, minutes, seconds
NOTE This parameter requires that ra , dec , epoch all be set
  • dec – the declination of the nebula; please use {{DEC}} filling in ±degrees, minutes, seconds
NOTE This parameter requires that ra , dec , epoch all be set
  • dist_ly – the distance of the nebula, in light years
NOTE This parameter is incompatible with dist_z
  • dist_pc – the distance of the nebula, in parsecs
NOTE This parameter is incompatible with dist_z
  • dist_z - the distance of the nebula, in dimensionless redshift
NOTE This parameter is incompatible with dist_pc and dist_ly
  • appmag_v (optional) – the apparent magnitude of the nebula
  • appdia (optional) - the apparent diameter of the nebula, in degrees, minutes, seconds, milliseconds of arc
  • size_v – the apparent dimensions of the nebula
  • constellation – the constellation containing the nebula. Should be wikilinked.
  • radius_ly (optional) – the radius of the nebula, in light years
  • radius_pc (optional) – the radius of the nebula, in parsecs
  • dimensions (optional) - the real dimensions of the nebula if the radius isn't sufficient to describe it
  • absmag_v (optional) – the absolute magnitude of the nebula
  • notes (optional) - notes
  • names (optional) – any other names, catalogue designations, etc.
