Stuart James is a Radio Presenter with over 40 years experience in the Radio industry. He started his broadcasting career in 1976 with WHBS (Woolwich Hospital Broadcasting Service) he went on to work for BBC Radio Medway now BBC Radio Kent then for Radio Orwell which is now part of the Heart group of stations run by Global. He has also worked for Radio Wyvern now part of the Bauer Group of Greatest Hits Radio.

He then joined BFBS (British Forces Broadcasting service) in Germany, firstly in Berlin then Cologne before going on to work in Gibraltar, Hong Kong, Paderborn Germany, Brunei, Bosnia and BFBS London during those years he held to positions of Presenter/Producer, Senior Producer, Music Director, Station Manager, and Deputy Programme Director for Worldwide Programmes.

Stuart left BFBS in 1997 and went on to run his own business outside of radio, but was tempted back into radio by EKR (East Kent Radio), latter to become European Klassic Rock via satellite. Stuart also worked for Sovereign radio in Eastbourne before joining BBC World Service in Network Operations but after three years he had a complete change of direction by becoming a Train Driver for Southeastern Railway a job that he held for 12 years before being promoted to the post of Train Driver Manager for the last two years of his fourteen years with the company. He has now retired from the railway.

Stuart carried on broadcasting on internet radio for many of those years as a train driver, and is now presenting a weekly radio show called 'The Golden Jukebox' which is currently broadcast by over 21 radio station worldwide.
