Nicolas-Marie Daru (born 21 October 1988) is a French runner. In 2024, he became French national cross country champion, and also won the 3000m steeplechase at the French Athletics Championships.[1]

Early life

From Grenoble, Daru joined the French army in 2006.[2][3]

Career

He won the 2024 French Cross Country Championships.[4]

He qualified for the final and finished sixth overall at the 2024 European Athletics Championships in Rome in the 3000m steeplechase.[5][6] He then won the 2024 French Athletics Championships in June 2024 in that discipline.[3]

In July 2024, he was selected for the 2024 Paris Olympics.[7]
