Hyun-June Leonard Ro (born Leonard Ro; Born July 13, 1978) is a dual citizen, American businessman, Federal Lobbyist and Lawyer. Born to Korean-Canadian civil engineer and a Korean-Jamaican homemaker.
From 2020 to 2023, Hyun-June Leonard Ro was a Canadian based Federal lobbyist pursuant to the Lobbying Act of Canada. Hyun-June Leonard Ro was nominated for the 2020 Order of Canada, Canada's highest honour typically awarded to citizens who are distinguished in and one of the first dual citizens to ever be nominated for the honor. In 2009, Hyun-June Leonard Ro was awarded the ACA Distinction Award, presented by Her Excellency the Right Honourable Governor General of Canada, Michaelle Jean. In 2010, Hyun-June was awarded the CCRS Distinction Award, presented by Premier Dalton McGuinty. In 2021, Hyun-June Leonard Ro was awarded the Government of Ontario's Volunteer Service Medal, presented by the Honourable Premier Doug Ford and Minister of Citizenship and Multiculturalism, Parm Gill.
