The International Baccalaureate Programme

There are currently eleven IB schools in Arizona.[when?] Barry Goldwater received its IB charter in 1999[2] and graduated its first IB class in 2002. Please note: The IB Program is a challenging program in which much crying, stress and emotional breakdowns occur. BGHS is not always equipped to handle such events as the students are perceived to be strong enough individuals to not have such breakdowns. Furthermore BGHS only offers a select few of IB Classes and currently do not have an IB Chemistry program, German, Film, Computer Science, Design Technology, Sports Exercise Science, Global Politics, Philosophy, World Religion, Geography or Economics. In simpler terms- it's easier to say that the only IB classes that Barry Goldwater High School Offers is English, Spanish, French, Physics, Biology, Theory of Knowledge/History of the Americas, 20th Century World History, Dance, Theater, Art, Psychology, and Band
