→‎Please provide evidence of BLP violations: reply to Nickps and ping some experienced editors

:I just want to note, for anyone else who reads here, that I have offered various comments at my talk page, here. Valjean and I discuss a variety of things, but I have also made some specific comments about things to change on the draft page. --Tryptofish (talk) 22:54, 27 July 2024 (UTC)

Nickps you are still making accusations without providing evidence. This is becoming more and more serious. You can't continue to make unsupported accusations and expect to be taken seriously. Just your black vs white POV of these topics is problematic. Even I, with my Aspergers, who too often tends to see things as either black or white, understands that BLP and NPOV are much more nuanced. Your doubling down and repetition (that "the draft violates BLP") doesn't make what you say more true. Provide examples we can work with to resolve the issue.

Are you seriously interested in allowing BLP violations to exist, but unwilling to help resolve them? That makes you a "party to the crime", so to speak. You're like a Karen who stands in their neighbor's front yard and yells at the police who have arrived: "He has been beating and kicking his dog." Police: "When did this happen?" Karen: "It happened." Police: "Where did this happen?" Karen: "It happened." Police: "Does he even have a dog?" Karen: "It happened." Even neurotypical people need evidence, rather than general and repeated accusations, to help them improve. As imperfect as I am, no one can accuse me of not being willing to try to improve. I have a very long history here, and, when presented with evidence, I also have a long history of heeding good advice. I just need to be convinced with evidence and RS. That's quite reasonable. I don't roll over when confronted with accusations not based on presented evidence.

If you see something, say something to me. I'm the one most motivated to fix it. I don't want to violate BLP. If examples exist, point to them, with quote marks. Explain why the examples of these violations really are violations. For god's sake, be helpful!

I have explained above the nature of the situation, so read it. It would be better for you to simply provide evidence that will aid in improving the draft. That's what happens in the article creation process. When it's good enough, it then becomes an article. It is not ready yet. It needs improvement, and I have no doubt at all that the draft has NPOV issues, but they can be resolved with better framing, attribution, etc. We do not MfD or AfD whole articles or drafts because of such issues. We fix them, and I'm very willing to heed suggestions and advice, but vague accusations, without evidence, don't help me. Be collaborative. -- Valjean (talk) (PING me) 17:26, 28 July 2024 (UTC)
