→‎Cultivation by country: More accurate info. Japan, Korea and China all have unique important traditions and practices surrounding these trees. However it's just that Japan is more widely internationally recognised for their ancient festivals and culture around those trees. It's important not to confuse international recognition as being the only country that valued and grows it.
