Welcome to Operation Tanks, a long term group for the improvement of tank articles. We are a special project under MILHIST.

Goals and scope

The goal of this group is to get every tank article to B class or higher.

Phase I:

Improving the articles about Tanks, whether it be individual models or a series.

Phase II:

Tank operations, battles, and campaigns.

Phase III:

Remarkable tank personnel, including both leaders and common people involved in tank-related affairs.

Phase IV:

Tank units and formations, ranging from tanks in small units to national armed forces.

Phase V:

Armored vehicle equipment and technology, such as secondary weapons, armour types, and cannons.

Phase VI:

Tank facilities and structures, such as fortifications, bases, test sites, and museums.

Phase VII:

Tank historiography, publications, and historians.

Phase VIII:

Types and periods of tank warfare, the tank-related histories of particular nations and groups, and general tank science and doctrine.

Phase IX:

Depictions of tanks and other armored and armed vehicles in all media, such as video games, painting, sculpture, music, film, poetry, and prose.
