Original – Poster by Georges Rochegrosse from the first Paris production of Jules Massenet's Don Quichotte, at the Gaîté-Lyrique.
Reason
Been eying this one for a while. I really love Massenet's operas, so this was irresistable, and it's a high-resolution scan of a rather gorgeous 1910 artwork.

  • Support - a high quality image with good educational value, both for the artist's style and the cultural depiction of its subject. Definitely an excellent addition to Don Quichotte. Voceditenore (talk) 09:57, 19 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per Voceditenore, - wonder if it would also serve articles about the history of posters, and the opera house, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:02, 19 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
