Thanks for the encouragement to make an account. Hope this helps others. I'm open to edits on my work... trying to 'leave' previous creators flavor too.

Re: mini survival kit edit

Re your message: My editing of the article and my opinions about it are not about what the items are listed, but how they are listed along with the structure. Your interest in creating the kits and adding to the article is far greater than mine (though it's certainly a good idea to create a kit). As you can see from my most recent changes, I made further cleanups of the structure, not necessarily the listed contents of the kit. My suggestion on the article is that an explanation of why a particular item is included, if it is not obvious, is a good one or if the item has a secondary purpose. But I recommend that the format of the explanation be written not in brackets which mean something in Wiki markup but instead try to use full sentences. For example:

  • Small capacity plastic bag: The bag may be used to keep items in the kit dry or for water storage. A zipper storage bag style bag is recommended for waterproof seal.

I think that you will find that style easier to read and understand. It also allows for longer explanations if necessary.

About the proposed changes to the article in the Talk page, Talk pages are not really meant to be used as as a working area. Discussion of the article and proposed changes is fine, but a working copy of the article should either be made in your user space or as a temporary sub-page of the article. The reason being is that if multiple people edit a working copy that is embedded in the Talk page, it is harder to follow the changes and also discuss other issues. You can see that at the bottom of the Talk page where at the very bottom, another editor asked for the page to be renamed. I realize that you were not the one who originally used the Talk page like that. If you need some assistance in setting this up, I would be happy to set it up for you. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 07:45, 22 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Re your message: My concern about the article is not about the merits of what is included in the kit, but more of the structure of the article and grammatical issues. If you look at Survival kit, which could be seen as a "parent" article of Mini survival kits, you will see that it is a general list of possible kit components. If you look at my last edit, I borrowed some of the text from the Survival kit article that explains that the listed items are not everything in a kit, but possible components, as you are correct that everything is not going to fit into a mint tin. Another suggestion I have is that you might want to alert editors on the Talk page of Talk:Survival kit that you are interested in collaborating in fixing the Mini survival kit article. If you bring in more editors you bring to the discussion, usually the article gets better. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 20:47, 23 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Laci Green edit

Hi there. I just wanted to explain why I reverted your recent edit to Laci Green. The problem is that your edit breaks the citations and makes it unclickable. If this is a quotation from the video and you want to add it to the citation, you can do that using the |quote="<your text here>" functionality of citation templates. If this is not a direct quotation from the subject, then it does not belong in the article. In any effect, I'm not quite certain how it relates to whether Laci Green is an atheist or not. The best place to discuss changes to the article is on the article's talk page, where you can be more verbose than edit summary. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 16:34, 18 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
