Speedy deletion nomination of Red Gold is a Trademark edit

Hello Simbadancer,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Red Gold is a Trademark for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Lgcsmasamiya (talk) 04:04, 28 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Re: Red Gold Trademark edit

Re your message: In order for an article to remain on Wikipedia about the Red Gold product, you will need to write an actual encyclopedia article about the product/company instead of just an overview of the trademark filing. Articles on Wikipedia cover the subject, not just who owns a particular trademark. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 15:16, 28 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Re your message: If you are uncomfortable creating a new article, you can request that an article be created through the articles for creation process. As for the existing article, Colored gold, the Wikipedia article is about alloyed gold in general, not about a specific company's trademarked product. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 17:42, 28 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 15:47, 28 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
