Hi, I would like to publish a german wikipedia article, which a friend of mine translated (native speaker). My English is bad, but the translation is very well done (cross-readed twice by professionals). The German Wikipedia article is fine without any corrections or questions of german volunteers Am I allowed to publish directly? Thanks a Lot

I would suggest submitting the article to the articles for creation process, here. English and German Wikipedia may have different standards for notability. Submit it to AFC, and then after a while (which may be up to three weeks), it will be reviewed. Or, you could submit the article directly if you feel that it's good enough and has good sources. However, if you publish it directly and there is some issue you didn't see, the article may be deleted. It's pretty much up to you, either way. Howicus (talk) 21:44, 26 August 2013 (UTC)

Thanks to Howicus and others for giving me advices to start in the english wikipedia. My article is still named as orphan, although now it is linked with articles (links to my article: respiratory therapy and list of respiratory organizations). In't it enough? Can I do something else?

The orphan issue is fixed, but the notice is still there because the "orphan" tag has to be removed manually. To do that, just click "edit source" and remove the text {{orphan|date=August 2013}} Howicus (talk) 18:09, 2 September 2013 (UTC)
