Re: my page S.E.M;I deleted ???? edit

Re your message: Because it was a copyright violation from here. Copyrighted material can not be copied and pasted into Wikipedia articles. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 07:14, 17 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Re your message: You might have, but unfortunately, your record label has a copyright notice at the bottom of all of their pages and therefore the text is copyrighted. Also, your band does not meet the notability guidelines for inclusion on Wikipedia. Please also see the conflict of interest guidelines. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 07:25, 17 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
Re your message: All band articles on Wikipedia should meet the notability guidelines. If they do not, they are deleted. I am not saying that your band doesn't meet the notability guidelines, it might. What I am saying is the article as you created it does not meet the notability guidelines. For the article about your band to remain, your band needs to either have a hit single or album or have been the subject of an article by a third-party source. If you can provide references to the articles, then the article about your band is more likely to remain on Wikipedia. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 07:34, 17 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
To follow-up to myself, by an article about your band, I mean if you or your band have ever been interviewed and published by a music magazine (either online or print)? If you have, then that would be a valid reference and could be used to establish your notability. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 07:38, 17 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
Re your message: Yes, that helps establish the notability of your band. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 05:51, 18 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

S.E.M;I (band) edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of S.E.M;I (band), and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.blcmusic.com/artistinfo.php?artist_id=8. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 07:16, 17 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

MfD nomination of User:Orgillon edit

User:Orgillon, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Orgillon and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:Orgillon during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Peacock (talk) 15:23, 30 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
