Regarding the article you created about yourself edit

Please do not write or add to an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 04:58, 16 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Re your message: The article you created was deleted because you did not establish why you are notable enough for inclusion on Wikipedia. You need to provide citations from reliable sources establishing your notability. I strongly suggest that you read the guideline on writing an autobiography and the article subject's FAQ before you continue to edit. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 05:18, 16 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Advice, good advice edit

Don, let me give you some advice, okay? Trust me, I know about this stuff. So, add up all the time you've spent trying to get noticed on the Internet. Any luck? Just your efforts at Wikipedia must be hours, right? You're referring to Don as "sir" and your account is "Team..." but I think you are trying to make your brand bigger than it is. It is basically just you, right?

Okay, you need a plan to be special as an artist and get noticed. Then the newspapers cover you gladly. Then you get a Wikipedia article because you pass WP:42. Then you continue and get really, really famous. You're starting with Wikipedia but you are not notable and we know that by googling you and we delete your article. It will happen every time. The article cannot survive here right now.

Some ideas:

  • Organize some charity event where you are the center of attention. Get the media to cover it because you've raised a lot of money for kids or something.
  • Do something to give yourself a totally unique image.
  • Think up a publicity stunt that is safe but very entertaining.
  • Organize an event with other artists. Charge admission. Show your stuff too. Make deals with the artists.
  • There are lots of ideas. You just have to think them up. That is the way to get famous. I'm looking at your deleted article now. It took a long time. And your website? Time consuming? I think so. Many visitors? Hmmmm.

You spent maybe 200 hours on internet promo that didn't get you too far. You noww have 200 hours over the next six months to devote to the best plan in the world to get famous. Think hard. Be clever. You can do it! Anna Frodesiak (talk) 09:36, 16 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
