Re: Why you deleted SaaZ-The BanD edit

Re your message: The article was deleted because it did not establish why the band is notable enough for inclusion on Wikipedia. You may recreate the article if you can provide the necessary citations from reliable sources establishing the band's notability. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 20:28, 30 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Adding to Gogo Dodo's comment, you should not be writing about your friend's band anyway. Writing about a subject where you have a close personal connection is called a conflict of interest, and such editing is highly discouraged. This can include writing about such things as yourself, your friends, your website, your company, your business, your family, a band you or your friends are in, your teacher, a word you made up, a story you wrote, your hamster, or anything else you're closely affiliated with. Your username edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Maddysinghofficial", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because user of the word "official" implies that you are here in an official capacity. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing this form, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. -- Diannaa (talk) 01:58, 31 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you.
