Proposed deletion of Sterling Smartware Solutions edit

The article Sterling Smartware Solutions has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The alleged reference doesn't even contain the alleged word "smartware" and is about a completely different company? Is this a hoax?

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Proposed deletion of Smartware edit

The article Smartware has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication that this neologism is notable. References do not seem to support the alleged word "smartware". Also seems to be a promotional essay rather than an encyclopaedia article.

Re your message: The article was deleted because it was a copyright violation with the content copied directly from the website of the company that you work for. It was also clearly promotional in tone. Due to the copyright violation, it was deleted immediately and I will not restore it. You may ask for a review of the deletion through the Deletion Review process. You can also recreate the article without the copyright violations and without the promotional tone. Before you do so, I strongly recommend that you review Wikipedia's Business' FAQ. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 16:18, 27 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
Re your messasge: Your company holds the copyright to all of the content on their web pages. Just because you included a reference to your company's website does not grant the right to copy the content into Wikipedia. I recommend that you review Wikipedia's Copyright FAQ. Since the vast majority of the article was copied directly from your company's website, I can not restore or give you a copy of the article because I would be restoring a copyright violation which is now allowed on Wikipedia. I strongly suggest that you review the two FAQs that I give you before you continue to edit: Business' FAQ, specifically What materials can I upload? and Copyright FAQ. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 18:05, 27 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
