One-piece swimsuit page

I'm having problems with User talk:Swimsuitfan who is continully using a voyeur site on the article One-piece swimsuit where people PAY to watch perverted photos of women in swimsuits. I feel this violation of two terms. 1; As it's members have to pay for it, I feel it is the equation of advertising/spam. 2: It is a voyeur website and unsuitable for wikipedia's links. I removed it, but he (only a man would put this site here) returned it and claimed I was removing it because I am "narrowminded" and I should keep my views in "church". I see you have warned him before. Even after, he just returned it and hoped you wouldn't notice. I feel new action is needed against him. He claims it's not his site, but is fan fan. New Millennium Writings

Hi, I'm Don Williams, founding editor of New Millennium Writings (see my bio-note below). While I was not involved in the creation of the NMW Wikipedia article that existed for sometime, and while I know it wasn't incisive, I did enjoy seeing it there, and I'd like to post another article about our prize-winning literary journal. As her wedding is imminent I suspect vandalism to the page will increase. It might be a good idea to protect the page - either semi or full for say one month. Plagium article deletion

I totally disagree with the Plagium article deletion, that has been done while I was editing the article. If Wikipedia policy, is to avoid article referencing softwares, then I don't see why such commercial articles still exists:

All Burma Monks Alliance

Hi Gogo Dodo,

I was starting creation of an article about U Gambira and I noticed you'd once speedy-deleted an article on the All Burma Monks Alliance for criterion G8--does this just mean it was a redirect in place of a full article? I'm thinking of tackling that one next; they got extensive international attention in the 2007 Burmese anti-government protests and continue to be active worldwide, so I think I can make a good case that they're notable enough, but I did want to check with you before proceeding. I am Sarvesh Agarwal, s second year student here in the University of Virginia. We have a project where we are required to use social media to promote a business. As I said, I was only trying to get to the discussion page for Ideal wealth distribution. I inadvertently thought that the discussion for the deletion reasons were on thetalk page fo rthe article. I did not know that ther was discussion going on on the deletion page. The whole process is a bureaucratic nightmare for a novice and I hav enot gone through it before. So I was simply trying to reinstate that page. Then I discovered I could actually protest the deletion and os I tried that bu that still makes no sense to m since there is still no discussion. However I would like to get back to the discussion I had with opnfuture so I can understand this process a bit better; fo rthe next occasion.

My complaint with openfuture is that he and I were having a discussion adn yet he saw that our discussion was on an irrlevant page that was going to get deleted and woudl not affect any one else's decision. He could have pointed this out o me with a small amount of courtesy, but he gleefully insulted my ability as a psychologist nd ALL psychologists in connection with economics. He seems to be ignorant of the wide spread praise for behavioral economists or behavioral finance researchers such as Daniel Kahneman ( a psychologist) who won the nobel prize in economics. I would like to have that discussion in case he pursues this issue into other irrelevant areas. In my opinion OpenFuture was nasty in his reckless dismissal of psychologissts. If you look at my user space, you will see that that is all there is on it, and he did look at that and then made some (to my mind) deliberately abusive comments.

Anyway, I do want to get and keep his commentary but I hav e no interest in pursuing the ideal wealth distribution article in the face of such uninformed hostility. So If you can, please delete it but please help me get the commentary back for the record. By the way, someone else joined the discussion there modestly supporting my position, but I cannot remember who - perhaps PAR. None of this showed up ont he crucial deletion page, of course.... So, user:joe decker was willing to give me th transcript of the discussion on the IWD page at the price of my email address. When I refused to divulge it he change his mind and decided not to give me the information. I have asked him for how to appeal this unfriendly dcision, bt I thought I would ask you as well since I have no idea how to do it. Given Wiki's intent to make new users more at home with greater friendlienss and cooperation, this seems like a wonderful xample of how things can quickly go wrong in wiki. So, I spent half and hour reading the deletion review page and could not in he least figure out what to do. The templates were particualrly unhelpful. Had NO idea what each one was supposed to do.

Theses IPs try to ridiculously connect Lilo & Stitch with several unrelated titles, two of which are The Powerpuff Girls and Ni-Hao, Kai-lan. Anu Hasan

Hi

My wife's page has again been changed to an incorrect name. This is causing both personal and professional problems, and we need to get this resolved asap. I can provide a copy of her drivers licence if you advise where this should be sent to

I'd also like to point out that this page was in the name of Anu Hasan until someone ill-informed changed it, with no evidence to back up this change.

PS I've now amended it back to having both the correct and incorrect pages online which saves some of the problems and would appreciate if it could be left that way until we resolve this issue

PPS I now see you've changed it again. This needs to be rectified URGENTLY. The section on multiple surnames in the wiki help files say that it should be the name by which they are best known. As all interviews conducted by Anu use the surname Hasan, and her forum uses Hasan, and the TV channels press releases use Hasan, and her drivers licence/passport/wedding certificate are in the name of Hasan, and her personal email address is <struck> I think this is evidence enough

Deletion of "Songs of Ill Hope and Desperation"

Wondering why you would delete the page when on the discussion I put up the name to the page waiting for review and wondering if you even looked at the page before deleting it, since it is in national store's, under a major label, and has placed 5th in a contest for best grindcore album by Metal Storm's standards. Not to mention the reviews, unless more reviews are needed, I just put those 2 up cause they summarized what the other 15 from newspapers, etc. had said.

If this isn't enough sources to show importance please let me know, i'll be glad to spend another 10 minutes of my time finding about the same amount of reviews/sellers that I list here...

Deleted post

You deleted my edits... I reposted them with some fact links. I went for an interview at the company after doing research and was informed that the company has never made a profit in its 20 yrs and revenue are declining. It was a waste of time, though i liked the people. It will be better for people to be more informed about the company. The article I have now attached tells about their CEO saying it is on the verge of profitability in 2007. If you feel to re-write this better please let me know.

Deletion of "Bad Wisdom"

According to the deletion log the article about Bill Drummond's book Bad Wisdom was deleted motived by CSD A7. Still the rules for CSD A7 explicitly states that book are not candidates for speedy deletion but should be preceded by discussion. I quote Wikipedia:CSD#C7; "This criterion applies only to articles about web content and to articles about people, organizations, and individual animals themselves, not to articles about their books, albums, software, or other creative works."

The deleted article, Bad Wisdom, was about a YouTube web series, not about the book with the same name. It was just a coincidence with the names and the article was correctly deleted under CSD A7. Deleting of "Shotgun Opera"

I am involved in an underground, Detroit based band called Shotgun Opera (you access our facebook at URL www.shotgunoperamusic.com). I was considering possibly publishing a wiki page dedicated to information relating to the group but was notified that an article used to exist under that name and you were the one that deleted it. I wanted to contact you first (before I wasted any time) to find out why you deleted that article (it was not posted by us, by the way). If you can provide me with a detailed reason perhaps that will help me decide if it is prudent for me to continue with my article creation or if it would also just be deleted.

Help Reverting a Merge Done In Direct Opposition to Results of Editor Discussion

Hi,

I am hoping you can either help me or point me to a place where I can seek help.

Recently, the proposal to merge Ford Focus BEV with Ford Focus (third generation) was rejected due to lack of editor consensus. The related discussion can be found here.

Directly defying the results of this discussion, User:OSX merged the articles here.

Note that OSX was warned that he should not merge the articles in this discussion.

I cannot see how to revert OSX's merger. Could you help me with this? Also, I think that it would be appropriate for an admin to chastise OSX and warn him against similar actions in the future. How should I proceed?

Boy Vs.School

I have spent almost all day making the page that you just deleted, without even a thought towards its purpose. Boy Vs. School is a popular short film series, which originated as a school media project. As I stated in the deletion contest, which you probobly didn't read, if you google Boy Vs School, you will find that boy vs school DOES have a purpose.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion no. A7: says, "An article about a real person, individual animal(s), organization (e.g. band, club, company, etc., except schools),[4] or web content that does not indicate why its subject is important or significant. This is distinct from verifiability and reliability of sources, and is a lower standard than notability. This criterion applies only to articles about web content and to articles about people, organizations, and individual animals themselves, not to articles about their books, albums, software, or other creative works.

I believe that a short film is a Creative Work.

Question regarding deleted page (that I am looking to re-create)

Hi there,

I was looking to make a page for a band, and apparently someone has tried to do this at some point in the past, as Wikipedia gave me the warning that it was deleted, etc.

I play in the band, and I believe that it was probably deleted, when it was, because no credible sources were available to even validate the bands existence (just social networking sites, etc.)

However, the band is now signed to a record label, it has released an official album, and is talked about and featured on several non-social networking sites. In other words, there's actually proof that the band exists.

My question is: If I make this page, will it be deleted again?

The article was deleted because you did not establish why the league is notable enough for inclusion on Wikipedia. Having a bunch of fans does not make one notable. Prague Philharmonia page problems (again)

Just to let you know, the fools at the Prague Philharmonia tried to edit their wikipedia page again by pasting in their own direct English language text recently. The latest IP address, 213.151.91.242, is in keeping with all the others. The pattern seems to be that every 3 months, someone from the orchestra disrupts the page. Yes, for record-keeping purpose. I disagree with you when you delete the userpages citing WP:DENY, because userpages are remote and not things the public generally views very often. To me, DENY for this user means hiding all the edits made. But, I agree that the sockpuppet template is not the best thing for this. Ksncidnreuwn page deletion

I know the page about "Ksncidnreuwn" seems like a hoax, but the term has been growing in awareness as text language at Olympia High School in Orlando, Florida and might become somewhat of a fad. I am aware that there are other articles about fads on Wikipedia that are considered reasonable enough to stay. None of the information in the article was misleading or incorrect but it does have to be updated. I ask that you revive the page, though if you turn it down and wait until it has truly become a widely used term I understand. If you do not see it fit to bring back the page, please send me a message explaining why it is not acceptable.

Pokeware

I am writing to apologise for inadvertently over-riding your salting of this title. I feel foolish, but the system didn't help. What happened was that POKEWARE (all caps) turned up. I was suspicious because the author had posted to REFUND just before posting the article, but when I put "Pokeware" into the search box it just gave me the new article, its history showed nothing, and the (new) author's edit history had no deleted versions. A Google check suggested to me that the subject might actually be notable, so I moved the article to "Pokeware". At that point I think the system should have warned me that the target was protected, and I shall suggest that at VP/T, but it didn't.

Feel free to zap or AfD it if you think fit, but IMO there are more references out there and I think it at least passes A7 now.
