Re: Ken Boyd (politican) edit

Re your message: I think you are on the correct track to resolve the issues by bringing them up on the article's talk page. You are very early in the discussions, so I recommend that you continue to try to have an open discussion on the issue with other interested editors. If you come to an impasse, I suggest that you follow the dispute resolution process.

As for the Cynthia Neff article, her article was deleted through an articles for deletion process at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Cynthia Neff. It was determined that she does not currently meet either the general notability guidelines or the notability guidelines for politicians. You will have to show that something substantial, like winning a public office or additional coverage of her, has changed from June when the discussion occurred until now. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 05:30, 6 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Re your message: Yes, I locked the page because you were both edit warring which will not be tolerated. Do not continue to revert each other or you may find yourself blocked for edit warring. The page will remain locked for 1 week, however, if either of you continue to revert each other, the article will likely be locked again and blocks issued to both of you. I strongly recommend that you follow the Dispute Resolution policy since you can not come to an agreement on the article. At minimum, you should get a third opinion. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 05:56, 8 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
Re your message: As a non-expert on Virginia copyright, I have erred on the side of caution per WP:Public domain. However, the section can be re-added if your claim is correct. But that still does not avoid your edit warring with the anonymous editor which will not be tolerated like I said. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:41, 8 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
Re your message: I have asked one of admins who focuses on copyright issues to chime in on the issue. She has answered my inquiry on her talk page regarding your claim. If you have any further questions about copyright, I suggest you ask her about it. As for your "widely accepted as free-use", that would be a "fair use" claim, however, Wikipedia only uses fair use claims only under certain circumstances, usually only for images, not text copied from websites. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 16:38, 8 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

WP:COPYVIO on Ken Boyd (politician) edit

Please note that I have reverted your most recent edit to the article as a copyvio. Please do not continue to add copyvio to the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.243.66.52 (talk) 19:05, 7 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

If something is actually copyvio then you need to state what that is, not simply claim and revert. Your reversion is undone.
