Speedy deletion nomination of Don jow edit

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Don jow requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} at the top of the article, immediately below the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate), and providing your reasons for contesting on the article's talk page, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

July 2010 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but in this recent edit you removed a speedy deletion tag from Don jow, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Jusdafax 16:08, 30 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with Don jow. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. TEK (talke-mail) 16:09, 30 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If the edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. --Tryptofish (talk) 18:09, 30 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Don jow has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Team-Mini/245370060059?ref=ts/.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Regarding your autobiography edit

The reason your article is being deleted is because you have not established why you are notable enough for inclusion on Wikipedia. While there are lots of articles about real people on Wikipedia, all of them should meet the notability guidelines. Unless you can establish why you are notable enough for inclusion, please do not recreate your autobiography. Additionally, I recommend that you review Wikipedia's guideline on writing any autobiography. It will answer many of the questions that you have. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 18:34, 30 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

As I told in my message above to you, which was a real answer, the article was deleted because you did not establish why you are notable enough for inclusion on Wikipedia. Wikipedia has very clear guidelines on who can have an article. Just because you are a real person does not mean you automatically get to have an article. I am a real person, too, and I know I don't deserve an article on Wikipedia. In order for you to have an article on Wikipedia, you need to meet certain criteria per the general notability guidelines or the guidelines for biographies. For example, for you to be notable, some news organization like a newspaper, magazine, television show, etc. must have had multiple articles or interviews about you. If a person doesn't have those things, then they don't meet the notability guidelines. For a more personalized example for you, merely being a driver in rally does not make you notable. You would be notable if your rallying career took off and you won a rally series championship. Perhaps you will do just that. And if you do, one of your fans will probably write the article for you. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 21:42, 30 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
