Re: myles furman deletion edit

Re your message: The article was deleted because you did not establish how he meets Wikipedia's notability guidelines for tennis players or the general notability guidelines. You can add in references about a person using any of the citation templates available. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:11, 17 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Re your message: While the references were helpful, they still do not establish his notability per the guidelines. The depth of coverage is not very significant. Realistically, he probably will not be notable enough for inclusion on Wikipedia until he turns professional and has some success. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 21:00, 17 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
Re your message: He needs to either have competed professionally per the guideline for tennis players or been the subject of multiple, in-depth articles to remain on Wikipedia. Holding a record is likely not to establish his notability alone, especially if it is a local or state record.
Wikipedia does not usually classify athletes by high-school or pre-high school levels. Wikipedia uses more general classification like Category:American male tennis players after the article is moved into main space.
I see that you already discovered that Huon has restored the article and moved it into the Draft space for you, so that should answer your question about where you can develop the article. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 03:58, 19 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
