Unblock my IP edit

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Coconuts31 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

Wikipedia thinks my IP address is a web host provider, even though it isn't. My contributions don't say I'm blocked just for hosting websites like http://cuddlesworks.wikia.com. Remember, this is only for my IP address. Coconuts31 (talk) 13:20, 3 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Turn your VPN off then. You have, on a couple occasions, tried to use a webhost to edit. Reaper Eternal (talk) 13:31, 5 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

"Web host provider" in this case means "anonymising service". —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 19:57, 3 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

My second request edit

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who accepted the request.

Coconuts31 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

If you are reading this, I have now turned off my VPN. Please unblock my IP address as soon as possible. Thank you. Coconuts31 (talk) 13:53, 5 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Accept reason:

Since you have edited articles since this request, turning off the VPN filter seems to work, so I am procedurally accepting this. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 11:16, 6 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Could you try editing now? I don't think you're blocked. PhilKnight (talk) 17:53, 5 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

It works. Coconuts31 (talk) 21:51, 19 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Did you read the instructions? If you nominate an article for TFA it must have achieved featured article status which Toontown Online most obviously has not. Nthep (talk) 14:23, 5 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Yes. Coconuts31 (talk) 14:25, 5 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
So why did you think that the requirement "The article must be a featured article" wasn't applicable here? Nthep (talk) 14:30, 5 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
Well, I checked the article. Nothing was wrong with it. Very well written, referenced, etc. Coconuts31 (talk) 14:32, 5 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
You obviously don't understand what featured article means. Featured articles have undergone thorough peer review and checking to ensure they are the accurate, neutral and everything can be verified. This article has not had that level of scrutiny or even been assessed as a good article. I notice that you haven't yet actually edited any articles. Can I suggest that you concentrate on improving articles and do not get involved in areas that you don't yet understand. Nthep (talk) 14:38, 5 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

WP:TFARP edit

Your request for TFA came a bit too early (says August 22, no?), but for long-term planning there is WP:TFARP. It also should be promoted first. Consider to remove the template yourself, and until you get there (a month before the date) you will have a link to the article and a blurb of 1200 characters, I assume. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 18:31, 7 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Your warning edit

Please explain why you gave an only warning to this editor for creating an innocuous autobiography. --NeilN talk to me 18:24, 20 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

He created a page that doesn't comply enough to Wikipedia's Biographies of Living People policy. Coconuts31 (talk) 18:26, 20 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
That's absolutely no reason to give an only warning. In fact, the speedy deletion notice given by another editor was enough. Please review WP:UWLEVELS and choose your warnings and warning levels a great deal more carefully. --NeilN talk to me 18:33, 20 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Archives edit

Please do not edit archived pages. [1] Thank you. --NeilN talk to me 22:37, 21 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

NeilN, I believe this was an admission by the sockmaster whose account is the accused in this section. An awkward attempt at Clean starting, I think. If either you or Ritchie333 (who unblocked above) would like to extend an offer, you are welcome to but I'm seeing several issues which lead me to think that they just don't get it, yet.

Request reason:

My block is no longer necessary because I understand what I have been blocked for, will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and will make useful contributions instead. Thank you. Coconuts31 (talk) 16:59, 22 July 2015 (UTC)´Reply

Decline reason:

Given that there was confirmed sockpuppetry this week, I rather doubt that. Huon (talk) 23:38, 22 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
