Why restore this ANI report?

As City of Silver points out in that discussion, ANI was an inappropriate forum to take this to. If a user wishes to self-revert in such cases, they are free to do so. If you didn't realize that ANI was an overreaction, I'd strongly recommend taking a break from ANI or better familiarizing yourself with norms there. This comment is inappropriate. The edit in question, by Nikki2428, removed ANOTHER editor’s comment, which is absolutely not permissible. Shark was absolutely correct to restore that edit. 173.22.12.194 (talk) 14:18, 22 March 2024 (UTC)

I've always interpreted WP:TALKOFFTOPIC to extend to deleting replies when deleting an off-topic post, but I suppose that's not explicitly stated. Nah, it's true. your right. it's been my mistake of stalking Notice boards and the TH looking for things. there's a reason Cesspit redirects to ANI. You were correct in that BSB should NOT be clerking ANI in any form. They have nowhere near the experience level necessary to understand the nuances and intricacies involved. Even if I was correct in part, I overstepped and that was unacceptable of me. They were correct in this instance (or at least not wrong), and I don't think they've made any mistakes on the drama boards recently.
