Hello! Your submission of Pacific white line at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and there still are some issues that may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! Art LaPella (talk) 22:22, 14 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

There is another problem with that DYK nomination. Materialscientist (talk) 09:24, 17 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Re: Admin edit

Thanks for the offer, but to be honest, I don't feel ready just yet. I'm still under admin coaching by User:Juliancolton, and with how I screwed over on a recent MfD nomination, I don't think there's any way I could possibly get the tools at the moment. I'm flattered to be considered though! Best, Dylan620 (contribs, logs) 11:02, 15 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Pacific white line edit

It's the fact that it doesn't show up anywhere else; it seems to be a term created by the authors of that book. --NE2 17:06, 15 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

WikiCup participates in the Wikipedia:The Great Wikipedia Dramaout edit

Hello all, iMatthew here. I just wanted to let you know about "The Great Wikipedia Dramaout" which starts this Saturday. The goal of the Dramaout is to spend five days working on improving articles and abstaining from any of Wikipedia's drama. I don't think that any of you will have a problem focusing on articles for five days, because of course, any work you get done during the Dramaout will count towards your score in the WikiCup. Details are on the page; hope to see you all signing up! :) iMatthew talk at 00:27, 17 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Red links are good, per wikipedia guidelines edit

Per the recent edit made to snow, it is best to leave red links in so someone will be encouraged to create the new article. This is listed as a good practice within the Manual of Style. Thegreatdr (talk) 16:12, 18 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for making WP:NODRAMA a success! edit

Thank you again for your support of the Great Wikipedia Dramaout. Preliminary statistics indicate that 129 new articles were created, 203 other articles were improved, and 183 images were uploaded. Additionally, 41 articles were nominated for DYK, of which at least 2 have already been promoted. There are currently also 8 articles up for GA status and 3 up for FA/FL status. Though the campaign is technically over, please continue to update the log page at WP:NODRAMA/L with any articles which you worked during the campaign, and also to note any that receive commendation, such as DYK, GA or FA status. You may find the following links helpful in nominating your work:

  • T:TDYK for Did You Know nominations
  • WP:GAC for Good Article nominations
  • WP:FAC for Featured Article nominations
  • WP:FLC for Featured List nominations
  • WP:FPC for Featured Picture nominations

Again, thank you for making this event a success! --Jayron32.talk.say no to drama 02:30, 23 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your participation in my recent RfA. I will do my very best not to betray the confidence you have shown me. If you ever have any questions or suggestions about my conduct as an administrator or as an editor please don't hesitate to contact me. Editor review edit

Hi ATW. I just came across a couple of your editor reviews, and I like how you created a score for each editor. You also seem familiar with reviewing editors and are apparently good at it. I was wondering, therefore, if you would be able to provide a review for me, as my editor review page seems to have been neglected these past two weeks. If you don't have the time to do it, I won't be offended, though. Thanks. Timmeh (review me) 00:46, 24 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hello edit

Hello. Not sure how I got to your userpage, but oh well. Thought I'd tell you that you link The Lord of the Rings on your talk page when talking about the films which can be found at The Lord of the Rings film trilogy. You might know this anyway, but I thought I'd tell you anyway. Cheers, Alan16 (talk) 15:02, 27 August 2009 (UTC).Reply

Your RfA edit

Your RfA doesn't seem to be doing very well right now; I'd watch it closely and be prepared to pull the plug if you don't get any support soon. In any event, I wish you good luck for your RfA. Cheers, Dylan620 (contribs, logs)help us! 13:24, 28 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
