August 2008 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Catgut (talk) 23:27, 2 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - Toon05 23:28, 2 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. eric (mailbox) 23:29, 2 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Triega. - Toon05 23:35, 2 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Unfortunately you aren't the best person to judge what is "fine" on an article you created yourself. - Toon05 23:38, 2 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Urm... no. Please familiarise yourself with wikipedia policies and guidelines, or you are likely to get banned! Thanks - Toon05 23:41, 2 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Biased against me? Ah think nawt. They may be biased against first time editors, but only if you don't listen to them. If you feel they are biased, then abide by them and challenge them in discussion on the policy pages. Breaking them is only likely to get you blocked, and no changes will be made, I can guarantee it! - Toon05 23:46, 2 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits edit

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 23:44, 2 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits, such as the one you made to Triega. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing. --eric (mailbox) 00:37, 3 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits, non-template version edit

That article does need to meet notability, and it's kind of in question (judging by the superfluous amounts of "this article needs" templates... I don't care for them myself, but there ya go). Do you think there are some reliable sources (3rd party reviews from largish magazines, etc.) If a source is notable, you've got a better case for removing those templates after the article has been improved.

The problem atm is that the only two sources - the lastfm and the fanlounge - are either editable themselves by anyone's brother's cousin, or are fansites. I'm not a deletionist myself, and I'd hate to see the article go, but I'm not a poster boy for wiki's current culture ;-) So, anyway, get some better sources is I think the best thing to do with the article, instead of revert warring over templates (which more often than not proves their point). Re: Page deletion edit

Re your message: The article was deleted because he does not currently meet the notability guidelines for musicians for inclusion on Wikipedia. Perhaps in the future, if he has a hit single or album, he will be notable enough for Wikipedia. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 21:36, 3 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
