Hello!

It seems like I have to explain my excessive U.S. sex offender laws related editing as poisoning the well has been used to gain an upperhand in dispute resolutions[1]. I'm an econ student from Europe, Finland and not affected by any of U.S legislation. I have been drawn to these topics through my interest in public policy, and a short public discussion of adopting U.S. type of registry system in my country, in which opponents were quick to point out the problems that arise from U.S. registries, and which have been addressed twice by the Human Rights Watch ("Raised on the Registry - The Irreparable Harm of Placing Children on Sex Offender Registries in the US" and "No Easy Answers"). Currently, I'm trying to exercise more WP:Don't-give-a-fuckism with respect to these topics due to a few well respected long-term editors who are allowed to act against clear community will.
