Title - Senior Director of Institutional Effectiveness

I received my Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology from Northern Illinois University with a minor in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. In conjunction with my work in the clinical setting, I also earned my Masters Degree in Microbiology. I taught at Northern Illinois University as a teaching assistant and also taught various biology courses at local community colleges as an adjunct faculty. Having an interest in the research side of Clinical Microbiology, I completed the Doctoral course requirements for Clinical Microbiology. As I continued to teach, I realized that my true passion lies in academia. I loved working with students and felt honored to be able to share my experiences and knowledge and at the same time learn from students’ experiences and knowledge.

I completed my Doctoral in Adult Education with an emphasis in philosophy and science pedagogy and have remained actively involved in the academic arena. At present, I am the Senior Director of Institutional Effectiveness at American InterContinental University and enjoy working with all the different aspects of the University.
