About Me

Hello and welcome to my Wikipedia page! My name is Britney Reed and I am a journalist and freelance writer based in New York City. Originally, I grew up in Monroe, New York where I lived with my two siblings and parents. While in high school, I enrolled in an after school writing program where I discovered my passion for all sorts of writing, including creative, humor and journalistic writing. I moved to New York City to obtain my journalism degree at New York University. I graduated in 2012 and am currently working as a journalist for a local newspaper.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends, travelling, going to the beach and participating in outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking. In addition to those hobbies, I decided to start editing on wikipedia to enhance my knowledge on this platform and to further my grammar and editing skills.
