I (i.e Preben Vangberg, PrvInSpace or me!) am a Norwegian politician and PhD student, currently serving as a town councillor on Llanfairfechan Town Council.

Meta edit

Please note that I have written this page about myself mostly for fun. Everything on this page is factual and I have tried to cite most claims to the best of my abilities. I have tried my best to document it properly.

In terms of things that I have a close affinity to, that would be:

  • Myself
  • Llanfairfechan Town Council (since I am on it)
  • Canolfan Bedwyr (since I work there)

Political Career edit

I joined the Welsh Liberal Democrats in September 2021 and I subsequently stood as a candidate in the 2022 United Kingdom local elections for the Pandy ward for Conwy County Borough Council.[1] I came third with 15% of the vote.[2] I was elected town councillor for the same ward unopposed. I sit on the finance committee of the town council.[3]

Academic Career edit

I attended Aberystwyth University, where I graduated with a 1st class honours degree in BSc Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. I then moved to Bangor University where he graduated with a degree in MSc Language Technologies with distinction. I am currently a PhD student at Bangor[4] and also works part time as a assistant researcher for Canolfan Bedwyr.[5]
