Laothoe populi, the poplar hawk-moth, is a moth of the family Sphingidae. The species is found throughout the Palearctic realm and the Near East, and is one of the most common members of the family in the region. On first hatching, the larvae are pale green with small yellow tubercules and a cream-coloured tail horn, at which point they are known as hornworms. They later develop yellow diagonal stripes on the sides, and pink spiracles. Purpose

I edit Wikipedia to beautify articles and bring them to at least Good Article status. I have recently gotten into reviewing Good Article nominees and love it when I promote an article but I am nitpicky when it comes to a lot of things (especially references, grammar, and punctuation). I will bust your butt and make you work hard if I am reviewing your article! But all-in-all, I edit Wikipedia for fun.

If you have something that you would like me to work on, please let me know and, assuming I have the time, I will work on it the best I can!
