Semi-retired Forester http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forester living in Northeast Washington State, USA. I say "semi-retired", having officially retired (in 2008) from my longtime employer. I am no longer an employee, but I seem to be working as hard as I ever have.

Well, almost as hard. I don't get up at 5 a.m. any more to get ready for an hour commute to the office.

We have been building our own strawbale house for the past two years, planning on moving in in a couple months! We've been living in a 24-ft. yurt in the meantime.

I earned a B.S. in 1976 from SUNY/ESF http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/State_University_of_New_York_College_of_Environmental_Science_and_Forestry, Syracuse, NY Peace Corps Volunteer, Guatemala, 1977-1979 Forester in Bureau of Indian Affairs on Colville Indian Reservation and Coeur d'Alene Indian Reservation, from 1981 - 2008.
