Genroku 300 (born 1987) is a Japanese Wikipedian.
My username comes from the year of my birth, 1987, which is the 300th year since the first year of the Genroku era (1688 - 1704), noted as the Golden Age of the culture of Japan; although 1987 is actually represented as the 62nd year of the Shōwa era (1926 - 1989), viz. Shōwa 62, according to the Japanese era system.
I love and am deeply interested in the traditional culture and the history of my own country, Japan. I will contribute mainly articles about things Japanese. I contribute also to the Japanese Wikipedia with my own account.
