I am currently a lecturer in Software Engineering at Liverpool John Moores University. I'm reasonably lucky in that the majority of my teaching work is software and development centric, so I get to teach a lot of what I enjoy and am passionate about!

I'm a big fan of Wikipedia, as while it will never make everyone experts in everything, it allows a user to gain a quick overview understanding in any one of a a large number of subjects. As such, it gets use as a start point in my research work and from time to time for general personal interest. I very occasionally edit too, but only when I find something glaring and I'm in the mood. As you may be able to tell, I've only ventured into content, and simple contextual link errors; I am still getting used to Wikipedia Userboxes and page formatting in general.
