Overview of ME

My name is Brent, I am a college freshman at Georgia Southern University. I have two amazing parents and a 16 year old sister. While entering Georgia Southern my family moved to Omaha, Nebraska for work reasons. Even though they are over 1,000 miles away i still see my family during breaks. During my high school days, I was my schools president for FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), and I played football all 4 years. My sophomore year I was honored with one of the Pictures of the Year in the Gwinnett Daily Post.The picture was taken while I was volunteering with the Special Olympics, I was holding a little girls hand while helping her run the race. I love playing any kind of sports, I'm always on the go and ready to play whenever, wherever. I played on an AAU basketball team for three years at first we were called the Mill Creek Rebels, then later changed our name to Mill Creek Attack. I plan on majoring in Sport Management, and receiving a minor in Business.I was raised Methodist, and love being a Christian. I have picked up Ultimate Frisbee from my Uncle and Aunt, and I played with them but just for fun. I am now on the Georgia Southern Ultimate Frisbee team and I love every bit of it.

My Add-ons to Wikipedia

My only contribution to Wikipedia is that I have added onto a stub article. I've added more information and plan on continuing to do this to the Wikipedia article about Mill Creek High School.

Technology Knowledge

I don't think that technology is my strongest aspect, but I know enough about it that I can figure most things out on my own about it. One technology that I believe I am very good at is cell phones, I can find out and help anybody with there cell phone issues. It also helps i think because I've had so many cell phones that have broken while in use with me, Ive started to learn some things about them.

Beliefs of Wikipedia

I believe that Wikipedia is a very good source of information, however i know some of the information can be false at times due to the fact that anybody can add there own information to an article. It is very interesting using Wikipedia in college so much, when in high school we were blocked and prohibited to ever use Wikipedia as a source of information. They were so serious about it that they blocked the site from our school computers so we weren't even allowed to go to it. Overall I think it is a site that has valuable resources.

Language

The language that I have grown up knowing and speaking is English. I have taken 3 years of Spanish, and I understand it for the most part; however I can't speak it fluently yet.

Things About Me

1. I dont really eat any vegatables AT ALL!!!
2. My family lives 26 hours away from my college.
3. I listen to Country and Rap.
4. I get caught up in competitions too easily, and take them WAY too serious.
5. My favorite food is good ole country fried steak and gravy.
6. I couldn't decide what my favorite color was between blue,and green so now my favorite color is teal.
7. I have fallen in love with Ultimate Frisbee since I've gotten to college.
8. I always order onion rings at The Varsity, but only eat the crust on them.
