Date

edit

The article says this holiday is on June 21st AND that it's on the summer solstice, which would make it slightly moveable. Which is it? 207.203.80.14 19:39, 3 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Judging by the sources listed, I'm fairly certain it's June 21st, and that this date was chosen because it falls on "or around" the summer solstice. I've changed the wording in the article to reflect that. Thanks for the catch. --Daniel 12:30, 17 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
I've corrected the article because it is actually to be celebrated on the summer solstice, making it slightly movable, as above noted. The resolutions passed by the IHEU and the AHA clearly state this. And I'm personally familiar with this matter because I'm the person who got the IHEU and the AHA to pass these resolutions back in the day. Fredwords (talk) 12:57, 22 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
