Toronto/Lester B. Pearson International Airport ->Toronto Pearson International Airport. The FULL name of the airport is NOW (& has been for some time) "Toronto Pearson International Airport": See http://www.gtaa.com/index.aspx?Sid=Node9&tpl=7#Question6 —Preceding unsigned comment added by JimWae (talkcontribs) 01:11, 21 Jun 2005

  • Support - --JimWae 17:46, 2005 Jun 21 (UTC) - according to the best source available, the GTAA FAQ, that is now the FULL name
  • Support. GTAA website only uses TPIA now. Even if LBPIA is "official", Wikipedia generally uses the commonly used names for things and people, i.e., Joe Clark, not "Charles Joseph Clark". Ground Zero 17:53, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)
  • Support. Gets rid of the "/" which is always a bad thing to have in a page name. Philip Baird Shearer 20:08, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Moved. -- Infrogmation June 29, 2005 04:12 (UTC)

Statistics problem

edit

The sidebar says

"passengers per day: 149,507,418" under 2018 stats

In the lede, it says "handling 49.5 million passengers in 2018"

Something is wrong here. TheHYPO (talk) 03:21, 18 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

It is always a good idea to check the references. Johnny Au (talk/contributions) 01:18, 19 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

The sections mentioned above, which are important to all airport articles of Wikipedia, are always seperated from each other, and are not merged with each other. This case is not the same in any airport articles on Wikipedia. Even after trying to separate those sections, they are not getting separated, and are merged together under one section–Airlines and Destinations. I request to these sections to separated from that section as soon as possible, as this article is about a major and very important airport. Thanks. Altoumulus (talk) 12:30, 3 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Done They are already separated. Johnny Au (talk/contributions) 12:53, 3 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Greetings. I suspect some would find it irrelevant or trivial, but I added info about the song YYZ by Rush. Do please let me know if it's inappropriate or overdone. (Update: I've just found out there is to be a Rush-themed specialty bar at the airport, so I've added that.) Yesthatbruce (talk) 05:13, 9 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
